Grapevine Travelers – Fine Wines, Spirits & Beers is a unique wine shop with a fun and
exciting attitude, located in the heart of Medford Square. We are in search for part-Time
help on the weekends, and are looking for an individual that possesses passion and an
outgoing personality.
This job contributes to Grapevine Travelers success by assisting the store manager in
executing store operations. It is critical that this job maintain the unique Grapevine
Travelers experience our customers are accustomed to and have come to expect.
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
• Communicates clearly, concisely and accurately in order to ensure effective store
operations.
• Demonstrates integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values
and mission of Grapevine Travelers.
• Maintains and models a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual
events; continues to keep store operating to standard.
• Engages in conversation with customers to understand customer needs to be able
to educate and provide recommendations to our customers.
• Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Models a customer comes first attitude, delivers legendary customer service.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Must possess a working knowledge and passion for wine, and sharing that
knowledge with customers
• Ability to act with a customer comes first attitude and deliver customer service that
meets or exceeds customer expectations
• Effective oral communication skills
• Knowledge of the retail environment
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service
• Sales experience
• Must be able to work some weeknights, Saturdays and Sundays, able to lift 40
pounds, and be computer proficient.
